Things to do in Dormund, Cologne and Bonn

Germany is a country that never fails to surprise me, breaking many stereotypes. Join me this time as we explore Dortmund, Cologne, and Bonn – three cities, each with its own unique charm.

Dortmund

Dortmund wasn't on my radar, but I accompanied my brother to visit a car museum called Pace Car Museum. Car enthusiasts will love this place, owned by Jean Pierre Kraemer – a YouTube personality and founder of JP Performance. The collection changes every six months, ensuring new cars for each visit. We also tried the delicious burgers at their restaurant, not to mention the tasty coffee and cinnamon rolls at the museum.

Cologne

I'm quite familiar with Cologne, having visited many times and even spent a month there. This time, I had the pleasure of experiencing the Pride festival, which was truly impressive and tons of fun. Don't miss the chance to climb the cathedral – though lots of stairs, the 360-degree view of Cologne is worth it. Stroll along the Rhine riverbank, try currywurst, and indulge in plenty of beer. If you have a car, venture out to the outskirts to explore the majestic castles.

Bonn

Right next to Cologne, Bonn is another gem worth visiting. I enjoyed exploring the Botanical Garden and wandering through the historic old town.

I'll be back in Germany in a few months, so stay tuned for my next blog, where I'll share more about what to do in Cologne.
